Our Story
Founded in 2024, Ava James & Company is dedicated to offering a small-business boutique experience on-line for those who may be unable to get out in person, or prefer to shop online. Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2022, I am no longer able to stroll through the quaint boutiques of "Main Street, USA," and found the options to be limited. Thus, the online version of Ava James & Company was born! From there, we felt that those that did like to shop in person were missing out on our great items from small businesses, so we decided to add our first brick and mortar location in Plainfield, IL.
Our Mission
We are committed to offering a variety of high-quality gifts that are both thoughtful and affordable. We believe gift-giving should be a joyous experience and strive to make it easy and enjoyable for our customers. Seeing how excited our niece and nephews are when they receive gifts with their names/pics on it, we felt it was also important to include offering personalized items for everyone, no matter the age. As a small business, it was also important to us to support other small businesses by carrying their products. You won't find anything available on Amazon or big box stores here!
